There is no attempt and age eligibility criteria is mentioned in the official websites of GATE, So you can attempt for GATE Examination many times, but the examination is conducted only 1 times in a year
For how many papers, a candidate can apply in GATE 2020?
A candidate can apply for only ONE (1) of the 25 papers listed in the GATE 2020 Information Brochure or GATE website. The list of subjects is available on shiksha.com. A candidate is expected to appear in a paper appropriate to the discipline of his/her qualifying degree. However, a candidate is free to choose any other paper according to his/her admission plan.
