BANK-PO

The full form of Bank PO Exam is the ‘Bank Probationary Officer Exam’. Bank PO is a Scale 1 officer position offered in various banks of the country. Scale 1 officer is a manager level personnel who is entitled to perform managerial tasks. The exam is conducted by various bodies like IBPS, SBI, IPPB etc. to select manager level employees for Banks . Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS organizes the PO exam to select candidates for this post in 20 Public Sector Banks in India. Other Public and Private banks like SBI and IPPB also hold this exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in their respective banks.

A candidate must be 21-30 years of age while applying for Bank PO exam. Age relaxation of 5 years is given to candidates belonging to SC and ST. the candidates belonging to OBC categories are given an age relaxation of 3 years.

You can take as many attempts as you want . There is no restriction on number of attempts for IBPS Bank PO Exam. However in SBI PO, you can appear in the exam only 4 times.

IBPS PO is not a difficult exam. If you go through the IBPS PO syllabus in details, you will realize that most of the syllabus is of basic, high school level. What makes it difficult for most of the candidates to clear the exam is the lack of a proper study plan

The IBPS PO Interview is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) and is the last stage of the recruitment process. The culmination of the Probationary Officers' exam process is the IBPS PO interview.

SBI PO is considered to be more difficult than the IBPS exam. The questions asked in the quantitative ability section are relatively more difficult and the time is limited.
